❶ Download Smiles Application to your mobile, tablet or Mac computer

How to download...

1.  To those who are using Apple units like i-phone, i-pad or macbook,
you can download the application from Apple Store.

2.  If you are using Android units like Samsung, Sony and other smartphone brands,
you can download the application from Google Application.

 

❷ Register as a Remitter


1.  Accomplish the online registration form.

2.  Upload a copy of your valid identification card as listed below:

a.  For Foreigner
-  Residence Card / Alien Card Registration

b.  For Japanese Nationals
-  Japanese Driving License
-  Health Insurance Card
-  Passport

Note:  Other supporting documents may be required

❸ Receive your Verification Code

Digital Wallet will send you a “Welcome Letter” together with your Verification Code. 
To complete your registration, you must log-in to Smiles Wallet Application
and you will be required to input your Verification Code. 
Notification will be sent to you stating that your registration has been completed.

 

Note: If you requested a ‘Yucho Furikomi' Card or Postal Payment Card, it will be sent to you separately. After Log in to APP, you can apply for Furikomi card. 

❹ Start Sending Money

1.  Make a deposit to your Smiles Wallet Account

a.  Deposit the money using your Yucho bank account to Smiles Wallet Account at Yucho bank ATM or Yucho bank ATM at Family Mart.  

2.  Notify Smiles Wallet of your deposit

a.  Log-in to Smiles Wallet Application from your mobile, tablet or Mac computer.
b.  Click “Deposit” button, and fill-in the necessary information. It’s very easy!

3.  Make a Remittance Request

a.  Log-in to Smiles Wallet Application from your mobile, tablet or Mac computer.
b.  Click "Remit" button, and create your own remittance request. It's very easy!
c.  Your remittance will be processed immediately after your Smiles Wallet Account balance is confirmed to have sufficient balance. Remittance confirmation will be available in your Smiles Wallet Application.
d. For cash pick-up, the “Reference Number” is available in your Smiles Wallet Application, which you may send automatically to your Beneficiary via LINE, Viber, Messenger, or email.
